MPR Underwriters brand and website
MPR Underwriters is a specialist underwriter in management and professional risk insurance, supporting brokers through a complex regulatory and commercial landscape. They needed a brand and digital presence that would communicate authority, clarity and confidence, while also reflecting a more agile and responsive way of working. Fogarty+Patchett were appointed to create a refreshed identity and website that balanced professionalism with approachability.
STRATEGY
Insurance brands often default to conservative visual language and technical messaging. For MPR, the opportunity was to stand apart from that category norm.
The challenge was to position MPR as both dependable and adaptable: a trusted underwriting partner with the expertise to navigate specialist risk, but with a more personal and flexible service model than larger competitors. The new brand needed to reassure brokers while making engagement feel easier and more direct.
DESIGN
Fogarty+Patchett developed a brand system built around the idea of strength with flexibility. Messaging centred on clarity, confidence and partnership, while the visual identity introduced a cleaner, sharper and more contemporary tone.
The website was designed to simplify complex information, making MPR’s products, expertise and proposition easier to understand. Structured content, intuitive navigation and clear calls to action helped turn a traditionally dense subject into a more accessible digital experience.
EXTEND
The refreshed identity created a more confident market presence. Typography, layout and supporting collateral were designed to feel established and trustworthy, while avoiding the heaviness often associated with financial services brands.
The result was a visual system that could work consistently across stationery, brochures, presentations and digital channels, giving MPR a stronger and more cohesive presence at every touchpoint.
GROWTH
The new website combined credibility with usability. Prospective brokers could quickly understand MPR’s specialist focus, explore products and access key information without friction.
